DHARAMSHALA: Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay is scheduled to leave Dharamshala on an official visit to Canada, United States and Germany from 17 – 30 November. From Frankfurt, Sikyong will visit Bodh Gaya, the venue of the upcoming Kalachakra being organised by the Central Tibetan Administration.
The highlight of the visit would be Sikyong’s participation and address at the 8th Halifax International Security forum from 18 – 20 November.
Besides the security forum, Sikyong’s other engagements in Canada include addresses to the Tibetan community in Toronto and Ottawa, interviews with the Canadian media and meetings with dignitaries and officials.
In the United States, Sikyong would address the Tibetan community in New York City and meet dignitaries and officials.
From New York City, Sikyong will fly to Frankfurt in Germany to attend a meeting organised by the Schwarz-Schilling Foundation, a reputed non-profit organisation. Sikyong will also address the local Tibetan community in Frankfurt.
From Frankfurt, Sikyong will fly to Bodh Gaya via New Delhi.
Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay will be back in Dharamshala on November 30th.
