Washington DC, June 19, 2017: His Holiness arrived in Newport Beach in the morning of June 19 where he was warmly greeted by the Tibetans lined up to catch a glimpse of His Holiness. Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait welcomed His Holiness and introduced him at the Young President’s Organization (YPO) business leaders’ meeting. He then addressed the crowd and interacted with the business leaders.
His Holiness later met with Congressmen Lou Correa and Alan Lowenthal, both of whom represent State of California.
His Holiness will meet with principals of City of Anaheim, group of Orange County elected officials, Congressmen, County supervisors and Mayors on June 20.
