The month-long exhibition undertaken at the public square of the recently opened upscale shopping mall of Plaza Loreto in the southern end Mexico City near the National Autonomous University of Mexico provides in depth information about Tibet, its landscape, history, culture, current political situation, and exile life.  It also highlights the chronology of the life of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. Apart from it, the exhibition also displays contemporary Buddhist art pieces captured or painted or sculptured by the members of Casa Tibet Mexico and other Mexican artists.

The exhibition will be formally closed tomorrow evening with the presentation of book, ‘Latin Americans and Tibet’ authored by Uruguayan writer, Aloma Sellanes, by a veteran Mexican journalist, Virgilio Caballero, as well as a music concert with Agustin Lara, a young Argentinian singer who composed special song ‘Vive’ (Alive) in honor of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Final sales of the collection of Contemporary Buddhist Arts will also be undertaken before the closure of the exhibition.

The exhibition is hosted by Casa Tibet Mexico.
