Central Tibetan Administration welcomes US congressional delegation visit to Dharamsala, India.

Washington DC, April 05, 2018: Representative Ngodup Tsering and ICT President Matteo Meccaci accompanied a two member Congressional delegation to Dharamsala. The two members were Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Representative Claudia Tenney. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the cabinet secretary of Central Tibetan Administration and Representative Ngodup Tsering at the Gaggal Airport and drove straight to attend public reception hosted by Kashag in honour of the delegation.

CTA President, Dr lobsang Sangay gave the welcome address and acknowledged the strong and continued bi-partisan support from both houses of Congress for the cause of Tibet and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He also acknowledged the ardent and consistent  support from Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen  over long period of time. They will have audience with His Holiness and visit Tibetan schools, monasteries, library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Tibetan Parliament House and attend cultural performance.
