Virtual Panel Discussion on 25 Years of “Disappearance”: Why the Global Support to Panchen Lama Matters

Tibet Bureau Geneva to host a virtual panel discussion on the topic 25 years of “Disappearance”: Why the Global Support to Panchen Lama Matters on 25 May 2020.

Geneva: Tibet Bureau Geneva will be hosting a virtual panel discussion on the topic 25 years of “Disappearance”: Why the Global Support to Panchen Lama Matters on 25 May between six to seven pm Indian Time (8:30-9:30 am-Washington DC; 2:30-3:30 pm-Geneva/Brussels; 1:30-2:30 pm-London). The panel discussion will be broadcasted live via Tibet TV’s Facebook page.

The opening address to the panel discussion will be delivered by President Dr Lobsang Sangay, Central Tibetan Administration. Representatives Ngodup Tsering from Office of Tibet Washington DC, Chhimey Rigzen from Office of Tibet Geneva, Sonam Frasi from Office of Tibet London, Tashi Phuntsok from Office of Tibet Brussels will be deliberate on the topic. The panel discussion will be moderated by Special Appointee for Human Rights Thinlay Chukki from Office of Tibet Geneva.

The panel discussion will predominantly be held in Tibetan language. Live written questions will be allowed subject to availability of time.
