Washington DC: Representative Ngodup Tsering, Office of Tibet, Washington DC met with Congressman Ben McAdam of Utah today inside the Capitol Hill which was closed for visitors since March 2020 due to Covid-19. It continues to remain closed unless accompanied by a Member of Congress.
Congressman Ben has been a great friend and supporter of Tibet. Unfortunately, he lost narrowly to his opponent during the recent election to the Congress. The meeting with Congressman Ben was to bid him farewell and show appreciation for his unwavering support for Tibet. Representative Tsering offered him a traditional scarf and a small thangka painting of Budha as a token of gratitude. Congressman Ben was in high spirit with a number of projects up his sleeves and he assured his full support for Tibet anytime, anywhere.
