DHARAMSHALA: Kalon Dicki Chhoyang of the Department of Information & International Relations (DIIR), Central Tibetan Administration met Mr Henri Malosse, President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on 26 November 2013.
They discussed the current critical situation prevailing inside Tibet. Mr Malosse expressed his deep concerns over the continued violation of human rights in Tibet and the repressive policies of the Chinese government that have led to more than 122 self-immolations inside Tibet.
In the course of their exchange, the need to resume Sino-Tibetan dialogue was emphasised and Kalon Dicki Chhoyang appealed for continued support from the European Union and its institutions.
