Washington, D.C., June 15, 2017: His Holiness arrived in San Diego, where he was warmly greeted by the city’s Mayor, the Chancellor of UC San Diego, and other dignitaries at the airport. After a short drive, he was greeted by around one hundred and fifty Tibetans and Chinese friends at his hotel.
Tomorrow, after a brief press conference, His Holiness will give a public talk at the University of California San Diego. The following day he will be the guest speaker at the University’s commencement ceremony.
